In this blog we are giving you a couple options for the best engagement toys for the Pomsky breed.

Mental stimulation is an important aspect of Pomsky training and energy management. These engagement toys will help to expend some of your Pomskies energy and keep them mentally stimulated.

Pet Zone – IQ Treat Ball

OurPets IQ Treat Ball is my favorite engagement toy. Fill it up with kibble or training treats and let your Pomsky ware off some energy trying to get the treats out of the ball. This is a great energy management toy. I used this one for my puppies, highly recommend it.

Outward Hound – Ottosson Puzzle Brick Dog Toy

Puzzle toys are great. My dogs used to love the Outward Hound Ottosson Puzzle Brick. Fill it up with some treats and let your Pomsky figure out how to lift each latch. This will keep them busy as they need to flip open each lid to find the treat. They will get pretty good at it though! So I like to rotate this one out with other puzzle toys, and bring it back after a few weeks so they have to figure it out again.

West Paw – Interactive Treat Dispensing Toy

Outward Hound – Plush Hide and Seek Activity

The Outward Hound Plush Hide and Seek Toy is up there in terms of all time favorites for my dogs. They LOVE pulling these little squirrels out of the logs. They get super excited every time I fill the log up with squirrels and let them go to town picking each one out of the log. One of my dog is a sucker for plush toys so he loves to take out one squirrel at a time, chew one squirrel for a few minutes, then go back for the other squirrels.

Wisedom – Dog Treat Ball

The Wisedom Dog Treat Ball Puzzle Toy is similar to the IQ treat ball above. The main difference here is this one is rubber, so your pup can chew the toy and it doesn’t make as much noise when your Pomsky kicks it around the hardwood floor (the OurPets IQ ball is a little noisy).

Full disclosure, I have not tried this one yet. But the KISSIN Dog Snuffle Mat Puzzle Toy looked too good to not include in this blog. You hide treats in this fleece mop toy and your pup has to do the work to dig through and find the treats. I just ordered one for my pups because I’ve heard great things about it!
